Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 July 2026
This policy applies to HospoIQ and other applications published by Anchor Analytics Pty Ltd ("Anchor Analytics", "we", "us"). HospoIQ is an operational application for hospitality venues. It is provided to operating businesses (for example, Duxton Pubs) for use by their staff and authorised personnel, and is not intended for the general public. This policy explains what information the app handles and why.
Information we handle and why
- Account details. Your work username and password are used to sign you in. Session tokens are stored in your device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, encrypted storage on Android).
- Face ID / biometrics. If you enable biometric unlock, the check is performed entirely on your device by the operating system. No biometric data is ever collected by, or transmitted to, Anchor Analytics or the operating business.
- Location. With your permission, your device location is used while the app is open to automatically select the venue you are at when logging alerts, notes and incidents. Location is used for venue selection only. It is not used for advertising and is not sold to anyone.
- Photos and camera. Only images you deliberately capture or select are uploaded, as attachments to operational reports, reviews, projects and venue documentation.
- Device and push identifiers. A push-notification token (via Apple Push Notification service / Firebase Cloud Messaging) is registered so the app can send you work notifications.
- Diagnostics. Basic, non-advertising diagnostic data may be processed by Firebase to keep notifications and the app reliable.
What we don't do
- No advertising, and no advertising trackers.
- No sale of personal information to any third party.
- No collection of data unrelated to venue operations.
Storage and sharing
Information submitted through the app is stored on systems operated by Anchor Analytics (hosted in Australia on Microsoft Azure) and handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. It is accessible to authorised personnel of the operating business and of Anchor Analytics for operational and compliance purposes. It is not shared with third parties except service providers that host our infrastructure, or where required by law.
Access and deletion
Accounts are provisioned by the operating business and cannot be self-created. To access, correct or request deletion of your information, or to have your account deactivated, contact your manager or the support office, or email us at the address below.
